ATEL Growth Capital 8, LLCl 8 will provide primarily short–term, high-rate secured loans with potential equity upside to promising pre-IPO companies. Our objective is to make loans to top venture-backed emerging growth companies in clean technologies, internet, hardware and peripheral devices, life sciences, and software. In conjunction with these loans, the Fund will typically seek to receive warrants of the borrower convertible to common stock in the event of an IPO or sale of the company. In many cases, the Fund may also seek to receive the right to invest in current or future rounds of equity.

ATEL 15, our flagship fund, is a $150MM public equipment leasing fund that offers regular cash distributions, a hedge against inflation and a variety of tax advantages. Our program specializes in leasing primarily low-obsolescence, business-necessary equipment to the nation's major corporations including Wal-Mart, PepsiCo and General Electric. We offer a 9% distribution, paid quarterly or monthly.

Growth Capital 6 & 7 is the latest series in our lineup of Growth Capital Funds. Each fund in the series is a $35 MM private placement that allows accredited investors access to the pre-IPO market. We work with top-tier venture capital firms to provide debt financing to the most promising companies of tomorrow. Investments are collateralized and senior to venture capital equity. Upside potential is offered through warrant coverage. The Fund offers an 11% distribution paid quarterly. It is designed for investors seeking steady cash flow and upside potential.
