Investor Services Representative - Denver
ATEL Securities Corporation, a subsidiary of ATEL Capital Group and a member of the NASD, raises equity to fund cash distribution investments, providing individuals the opportunity to invest in high credit quality and venture debt direct participation equipment leasing investment programs offered through independent financial planning professionals. ATEL is seeking a self-starter to work as an Investor Services Representative to work out of our Denver office and support our San Francisco main office.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering client and Broker Dealer Rep. phone inquiries
- Respond to phone and email inquiries from investors and Broker Dealer Reps.
- Ensure department operations are completed including reissues of investor distribution checks, account re-registrations and database maintenance
Requirements:
Experience in investor services or customer services, preferably with a financial services company. Series 6, 7 and 22 is a plus but not required. Must be able to work independently and as a team as well as problem solve. Excellent communication skills required. BA required.

Regional Sales Representative - Southwest
We are looking for a Regional Sales Representative to work in our Large Corporate Institutional Leasing department. This job is intended for an aggressive, entrepreneurial success-oriented person who is looking to get a start in a dynamic industry with extremely attractive earning potential. The goal is to groom the candidate to become a rainmaker capable of earning in excess of $200k within 2 years.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Create and refine a targeted prospect list of qualified public and private Fortune 1000 customers located in the Southwestern USA region
- Locate "B" and "C" level contacts who are the actual leasing decision makers at each company
- Communicate (telephone, in person, E-mail) with decision makers to develop a relationship
- Meet clients at their location - some travel to the Southwestern US (Texas, Louisiana) to meet with clients
- Work closely with National Sales Manager to originate, propose and hopefully close large ticket ($3mm+) equipment lease transactions
Structure of role is intended to be "Inside Sales" initially with strong sales and lease training provided by ATEL. As education and knowledge base increases, the Rep will be "let loose" to market directly to customers in Southwest.
Qualifications:
- Must be a fearless prospector (optimistic and persistent attitude w/strong desire to succeed)
- Must be willing to make 30 calls per day
- College Degree, Business major, preferably Finance
- 2 plus years experience in sales and/or telemarketing preferred
- Banking, sales or leasing experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Strong written, presentation and verbal skills a must
